Appointments

Routine Appointments

Appointments are offered by completing an online Patchs request for yourself or on behalf of someone else by clicking on the Patchs link above.

If you do not have internet access please telephone the surgery on 0151 645 3464 and a Receptionist will complete the PATCHS request form with you.

You will be asked for a brief description of the reason for the consultation. You will then be offered an appointment with the most appropriate health professional (GP, Nurse Practitioner or Practice Nurse).

All appointments must be pre-booked, we do not have walk-in appointments.

Telephone consultations

Telephone consultations with a GP (if appropriate) may be offered when it is not necessary for you to attend the surgery.

Urgent Appointments

Your request will be triaged by Clinical Staff. We will try to see you on the same day at the surgery if it is regarded as an urgent appointment.

Extended Access

We may offer you an appointment at the Extended Access Service which is at St Catherine’s Medical Centre if it is an acute problem.

Cancellations

Consultations are by appointment only. If you need to cancel an appointment please contact the Surgery as soon as possible. You can reply CANCEL to the SMS Appointment Reminder Text you have been sent. You can also cancel via the NHS app and Patient Access app.

Chaperone

A chaperone is available if you need one. Please ask the GP/Nurse when you attend your appointment.

Home visits

Please telephone before 10.00 a.m. to request a home visit for housebound patients and the seriously ill.
