The Spider Project is open to people who have mild to moderate mental health challenges (whether diagnosed or not) and people who are in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, that are abstinent.
To access their groups and sessions, membership to the Spider Project is required. The Spider Project take self-referrals or referrals by other services and professionals via email enquiries@spiderproject.org.uk, phone 0151 647 7723 or face to face.


Compañeros is a safe community space for anyone struggling to cope in a crisis.
You will find them at 2a Price Street, Hamilton Square, in the heart of Birkenhead and they are open 10 am – 10 pm 365 days per year.
What does Compañeros offer?
· A calming environment, with experienced staff members on hand to support individuals aged 18+, who are experiencing a mental health crisis
· A safe space, where people can talk openly, free from judgement or stigma
· Access to one-to-one crisis support, wellbeing recovery projects, creative arts and other essential social and emotional support
If you are 18+ & feeling distressed or in crisis, Compañeros is for you. Relatives, carers & professionals can also introduce someone too. Please note that they are unable to support anyone intoxicated with drugs or alcohol.
