Riverside Surgery Medical Practice was established in Rock Ferry over fifty years ago. Over the years, the Practice has evolved, keeping pace with medical advances and outgrowing the original premises. Today, we are a two-doctor partnership plus four salaried GP’s, offering a full range of general medical services based on modern family practice, at the same time, retaining many of qualities of traditional General Practice appreciated by patients. The Practice covers a large geographical area of East Wirral.
We welcome new patients registering with our Practice. This can be done by completing a registration form from Reception at the surgery or online.
Our purpose built two storey premise has all direct patient services situated on the ground floor. There is a car park at the side of the surgery which has two designated disabled parking bays, close to the entrance of the building.
The premises are fully accessible to people with disabilities. There is ramp entry into the building, along with automatic doors and accessible bathrooms, with changing facilities.
You and your general practice (YYGP) has been developed to help patients understand what to expect from their general practice and how they can get the best from their GP team. YYGP also enables patients to provide feedback or raise concerns with their GP Practice, Healthwatch or the Integrated Care Board (ICB). The YYGP document published by NHS England can be found below, along with a link to the ICB website.
