Merseyside Society for Deaf People (MSDP) have shared a video below for D/deaf patients, and healthcare staff, on the importance of using a qualified BSL Interpreter to translate information from medical professionals. It is important that patients have full knowledge and understanding when staff are explaining diagnoses, procedures and risks, or asking for consent forms to be signed.
If needed please contact Reception for a BSL interpreter for your next consultation.
