There have been several changes to the staff at Riverside Surgery in 2020, due sadly to the loss of Dr Johnstone and the retirement of Dr Selby and semi-retirement of Dr Williams. We would therefore like to welcome 3 new GP’s to the Practice.
Dr Kieran Grey joined us as a Partner of the practice in January 2020. Before moving to Riverside he was a GP in Heswall for 9 years, and was attracted to join a smaller, more personal surgery. His interests in work include musculo-skeletal medicine, minor surgery and child health. Dr Grey lives locally with his partner, an enormous dog and children but when he gets the chance he loves to go climbing or relax by playing guitar or gardening.
Dr Rachel Hastings joined us in January 2020. Dr Hastings qualified from Leicester medical school in 2009. Her special interests in work are child health and palliative care. When not working, she spends her time looking after her 2 (soon to be 3) children and walking the dog. She enjoys cooking and baking.
Dr Sam Lodge joined us in May 2020 as a Partner of the practice. Qualified in 2003, he lives on the Wirral and his specialist interests are palliative care and anticoagulation. When not working Dr Lodge’s hobbies include climbing, running, cycling and eating.
