National Elder Abuse Awareness Day – 15 June
National Elder Abuse Awareness Day will be marked by Wirral Age UK and Wirral Domestic Abuse Alliance on 15 June, at Birkenhead Park Visitors Centre between 11am and 1.30pm.
Alison Marchini, Wirral Safeguarding Adults Board Manager, will be representing the board on the day and will be available to talk to people about the workings of the WSAPB.
All are welcome to attend, with events including a Tai Chi class, a fun walk, and an art exhibition, as well as stalls from Tomorrow’s Women, Community Connectors and Involve Northwest – Lighthouse Centre.
