Children Heard and Seen are a charity offering free support to children, young people and their families who are impacted by parental imprisonment. They strive to support their needs, listen to their concerns and ensure that their voices are heard. All support is offered at no cost to the family and without need for agency referral.
Often children and young people with a parent in prison feel isolated and may not share with peers that a parent has gone into prison. Support can provide them a place to talk about their thoughts and feelings, further to this families are also offered to join online groups meeting others with a similar lived experience can be really valuable for children and the people who care for them.
