Following their on-going campaign to increase home dialysis, National Kidney Federation are very pleased to announce that the NKF will launch the first ever UK wide home dialysis peer support service.
This service started on Wednesday 1st September. Kidney patients wanting help and advice when thinking about or starting home dialysis can call the Helpline free of charge on 0800 169 09 36 and then be paired up with one of many trained peer supporters based around the UK. Patients can refer themselves, or can be referred by a carer or clinician/ member of the healthcare team.
