Posted on September 6th, 2017

Riverside Surgery will gearing up for ‘flu season’ and we will be starting our vaccination clinics from 26 September 2017 and are encouraging all eligible patients to come forward and book for their vaccination.

For most people, flu is a tiring and unpleasant illness. However for older people, young children, pregnant women and those with conditions like asthma, diabetes and heart disease; the flu can lead to serious complications.

Having a flu vaccination – given as a nasal spray for children – is a quick and easy way to reduce your risk of catching flu this winter.

If you are in one of the ‘at-risk’ categories, don’t wait for your GP to contact you; get in touch with us now and arrange to have your vaccination.
